You can stay close to home with so many activities and events going on in Nine Elms Battersea, there's no reason to go anywhere else. Come for the new streets and buildings to explore, the walks by the Thames and into Battersea Park, to meet friends for an end of year toast, or to introduce the children to Santa.
Entirely new cityscapes have opened up in 2022, along with shopping and entertainment facilities that have never before been seen around this part of Battersea. Many, perhaps thousands, of images of the Power Station’s chimneys have been shared, and Royal celebrations and commiserations were also part of local experience this year.
Battersea Power Station opened to the public on Friday 14 October 2022, a memorable day for all who have watched its development from roofless relic to twentyfirst century shopping mall and destination. After years of planning battles, owner changes and international upheavals, we are now able to enjoy the architects' vision along with a high-end high street experience.
