Community and Creativity at River Park Tower

A Night Above the City on Nine Elms

In mid June, we attended a unique event hosted at River Park Tower in Nine Elms, marking a special occasion for both the local community, and the arts scene.

The Summer Soirée, held 50 storeys above London, celebrated the launch of the River Park Tower development in collaboration with World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens. The evening brought together local partners, businesses, and creatives for a memorable night with panoramic views of the city.

The event, aptly named the "Concert in the Sky", was timed to coincide with the Summer Solstice, offering a relaxed atmosphere for networking and enjoying some of London’s best views. Members of our Music & Arts Team, connected with other key figures from the area and discussing ways to foster greater community engagement in Nine Elms as it continues to evolve.

One of the highlights of the evening was the live jazz band, who performed on the terrace against the backdrop of the London skyline. The combination of good music, cocktails, and great snacks created a laid-back vibe for guests to enjoy the summer evening while soaking in the views.

The views themselves were a major talking point. From the terrace, you can see sweeping vistas of South London - from iconic landmarks to more hidden corners of the city. The photos captured from this height really put the scale of Nine Elms into perspective and provide a fresh look at the area as it grows and develops.

The event served as a reminder of how important it is for local businesses, artists, and residents to come together and support each other. With Nine Elms transforming into a thriving hub, this is a great way to celebrate creativity and strengthen the community connections that make the area such a dynamic place to live and work.

Thank you to Josie and Esther at FTI Consulting for putting this together.
