Green Curtain Theatre The Power and The People - Wandsworth Fringe
Sat 17 Jun, all day.
Love it or loathe it, Battersea Power Station (which would never have been built if objectors including King George V had had their way) has been a symbolic part of London's skyline from the 1930s until the present day.
Did you know that its furnaces were used to burn cash in WWII? That it has been used as a film set, and featured on a Pink Floyd Album cover?
Green Curtain Theatre’s ‘The Power and the People’ brings to life its eventful history through the stories of people whose home or working lives have been interwoven with it.
Performance times:
17 June, 12.00pm — 1.30pm
17 June, 2.30pm — 4.00pm
