Kamal Sabri, the son of sārangī legend Ustad Sabri Khan Sahab, has been reinventing the art of sārangī-playing for many years, redefining it, and introducing innovations such as adding a cello string to the instrument, whilst still maintaining the rich musical legacy of generations and accompanying many eminent Hindustani singers.
